Bikini Atoll is by far the best wreck diving in the world! There is
no other location that has the history and type of wrecks that you will
find at Bikini.
A sampling of some of the wrecks you can dive on the :
U.S.S. Saratoga- The worlds only air craft carrier that is available
for diving. She is 880 ft long intact and loaded with planes,bombs,
and everything needed aboard a ship of her time.
Nagato- Admiral Yamamoto's flagship from where he ordered the
Japanese Imperial Navy's attack on Pearl Harbor.
Arkansas-, A Battleship that saw action in World War I &
II.
Apogon & Pilotfish- Two World War II U.S. Submarines rest
upright on the bottom and are a photographer's dream.
Lamson & Anderson- These destroyers still have depth charges
in their racks and all guns in place.
Bikini diving is all deep diving starting at 100 ft. and going to 187
ft. All dives are decompression dives. Any diver who goes to Bikini
should be at least an experienced advanced diver with perfect buoyancy
control. Many divers who go to Bikini are experienced with doubles,
this can almost double your bottom time.
