Q: What do I need to do to scuba dive?
A: An open water certification class will always consist of 3 different areas. Classroom training, pool training and training in open water which could be the ocean, river, lake or quarry. We use a home study program that means you do some of your classroom work at home. This allows us to cut down on the amount of time you need to spend in the classroom. Then we spend time learning the equipment and skills in the pool. After which you can perform your open water dives with us during the spring, summer, and fall or bring a referral on vacation to do your open water dives down south.
