Q: Do I have to get certified to scuba dive?
A: Nope. But you can also trek up a mountain in sandals without any supplies in the winter for a camping trip but it isn't a good idea. Also you won't be able to buy scuba gear, go diving with a scuba charter or get scuba tanks filled with air. If you aren't sure if you will like scuba diving most resorts that offer scuba certifications also offer “resort courses” which basically take you diving for one day to get a taste. Or just give us a call to meet us at the pool for a free try scuba and see if you like it. Did we mention it was FREE?
